June 2009 BP&G Community Garden For Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program

Brunswick Park and Gardens has planted a garden plot at the Brunswick Community Garden this year to raise food for the Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program.  We have had two planting sessions with about six volunteers helping each time.  Vegetable seeds have been sown and tomato and green pepper seedlings have been planted.  Master Gardeners Jan Colyear (729-4557) and Pat Cannon (798-5618) are in charge of the day-to-day operation of the garden.  If you would like to help weeding, watering, or harvesting, please call them.  Many thanks for your help
