Ownership & Control

The land will be owned by Brunswick Park and Gardens, Inc. for the benefit of the citizens of Greater Brunswick and will be operated by and for the benefit of these local communities. Under no circumstances will the ownership of the land or the operation of the Garden/Park be in the hands of anyone other than the citizens of Greater Brunswick. It must be locally owned and locally controlled. No outside interests should ever be in a position to affect it. The purpose of local ownership is that we, the citizens of Greater Brunswick, determine our own destiny.

Currently, the only major employers in the area, other than municipalities, that are not controlled by entities from out of state are Bissons, L.L. Bean and Bowdoin College.
