Our Mission

As concerned citizens of the greater Brunswick region, we are committed to the development of a world class park and gardens on 250 acres of land currently occupied by the Brunswick Naval Air Station (BNAS). Our plan envisions a world-class park and gardens, which will be owned by Brunswick Park and Gardens, Inc. (BP&Gs) a Maine not-for-profit corporation with 501 (c) 3 tax exempt status. The Park and Gardens will be controlled by the citizens of Greater Brunswick for the benefit of their communities. It will be operated as a source of continuing revenue for educational, scientific and charitable purposes, and as an ecological and social blessing. We intend to replace a portion of the job loss due to the BNAS closure, by employing year round and seasonal staff to maintain the gardens and provide guest services.
