Our goal is to build a garden, a magnificent garden, the most beautiful garden in New England, right here in Brunswick – a garden that will attract visitors from all over the country and even the world.
It would be modeled on several extraordinary world-class gardens, especially the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, British Columbia, The Arnold Arboretum in Boston, and the magnificent Dutch tulip garden in Keukenhof, Holland.
Within the formal Park and Gardens, we envision a variety of gardentypes that range from formal gardens with walking paths and multi colored flowers and shrubs, to back yard wild life habitat gardens. There will be meditative and healing gardens, gardens of the world and a children’s garden.
Each section of the gardens will be designed to attract visitors seeking to enjoy the beauty as well as provide educational, “how to” opportunities, for the park visitors. Inour orchards, and other sections of the park as well, we envision festivals of art displays and demonstrations throughout the year. All aspects of the BP&Gs willbehandicap accessible.
